It’s about that time of year again, the weather is starting to get warmer and that means its time to take out the shorts and t-shirts.
I know that it might be harder to dress in the spring and summer because you can’t layer as much, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t look good.
That’s why I am here. To show you the latest trends in my opinion that will make your style stand out more.
In this post, I will go over my top 5 spring summer 2022 fashion trends.
Camp collar shirt
Ahh yes, the camp collar shirt. When I think of spring summer fashion this is one of the things that comes to mind.
But the trend with this shirt for this spring and summer is going to be the material used for the shirt.
I think that knit camp collar shirts and ribbed camp collar shirts are going to pop off this spring summer.
The other great thing about this style of shirt is that you can get them for cheap too, or you can even make your own from oversized button-up shirts from a goodwill/thrift store.
Comfy /Running Sneakers
I feel like ever since the new balance 550 and all the collabs new balance had with their 990 models make these styles of sneakers more popular.
The athletic comfy running sneaker is just a staple piece in my opinion for this spring summer.
There are a lot of brands that make these style of sneaker but the most popular I think are just new balance.
Baggy/oversized pants
I don’t know where these baggy and oversized pants trends came from but I’m here for it.
When I am looking on my feed this style of pants is all that I see, and they are usually cargo pants too.
The best way to find these style of pants are to thrift from goodwill, depop, etc. Or if you have some extra money you can go to brands like Jaded London, hyieon Seo if you have a lot more money.
Jean shorts
I know I know eww jean shorts. Why did you put these on here? But hear me out there have really been popping off lately and they actually look pretty good.
The one rule I would say about jean shorts is to make sure that they are above the knee so that they don’t look weird on you.
The other great thing about this trend that I really love is that it’s really affordable. You can literally take an old pair of jeans that are too long or short and cut them and make them into shorts.
Athletic/designer shorts
Ah yes, the athletic /designer shorts are back this spring and summer.
I feel like these are just going to be here for a while. There are so many places that sell these style of shorts now.
But what I recommend is going to amazon and getting the champion mesh shorts.
Those are the ones that I have and I highly recommend them.
