I wouldn’t call myself a sneakerhead per se but I do really like sneakers and occasionally wake up early for new sneaker releases.Â
But having the right sneakers are important especially for the summer. Here are my top 5 best sneakers you need this summer.
Jordan 1's
These should be no surprise when thinking of the best summer sneakers. Jordan 1’s literally is a staple piece in my opinion.
You can wear them with shorts and high socks, with a nice pair of jeans, or even some cargo pants.
The versatility of the sneakers really makes them such a good sneaker.
Dunk Lows
Dunks have really blown up in the last year ever since Travis Scott came out with his sb dunks.
The great thing that I really like about dunks is the variety of colorways there are and they have been releasing a lot this year too.
Pairing these with a nice pair of mesh shorts, oversized vintage tee, and high socks is an easy and simple look.
If you can get your hand on a pair for retail, these are a must for this summer.
High End Slides
When you think of summer sneakers or summer footwear in general you probably also think of slides or slippers as well.
The thing is with slides you don’t want to go for your basic Nike or Adidas slides, you want to go for the higher-end ones like the Yeezy slides, Birkenstocks, or Suicokes.
I personally really want to get a pair of the new Yeezy slides.
Airforce 1's
Ahhh yes, probably the most famous and noticeable sneaker on this list, Airforce 1’s.You can’t go wrong with a pair of all-white af1s, especially for the summer.
These should be staple, that everybody must-have in my opinion. These with a nice pair of light washed jeans and a plain tee, you just can’t go wrong with that.
Blazer Mid 77
I’ve really grown to like Nike blazer mids ever since I got myself a pair earlier this year.
The fact that they are so affordable too really makes them such a good sneaker for the summer.
